HIGH PROFILE has been reappointed by the Australasian Fire & Emergency Service Authorities Council (AFAC) to coordinate its annual conference.
 
The AFAC Conference is one of Australasia's largest annual trade events, with over 1,300 delegates attending from all over the world. It also incorporates a substantial trade expo with more than 100 exhibitors.
 
The Bushfire Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) also holds its annual conference in conjunction with AFAC. The CRC presents a comprehensive program of research and scientific papers from global sources.

The 2006 AFAC Conference, in Melbourne , was a huge success, breaking records in delegate numbers, international speakers, exhibitors and sponsors. The 2008 AFAC Conference in conjunction with the International Bushfire Research Conference, in Adelaide on 1-3 September 2008 broke even more records.

Planning has commenced for the 2009 conference, which will be held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, Queensland on 22-24 September 2009.
