About High Profile Events..
High Profile Events began as High Profile Exhibitions, an exhibition organiser in 1994, when the exhibition industry was booming. The two founders of High Profile Exhibitions came from Riddell Exhibition Promotions, one of the large Australian owned companies, with twenty years combined experience. In the late 90s, after six large exhibitions and with a decrease in exhibition attendance around the country, the company moved towards conferences as its main focus.
The company name finally changed to High Profile Events Pty Ltd in 2007 to more accurately describe the company’s services, and now welcomes work in events of all descriptions!

At High Profile Events, planning is ‘sales and events-based’ rather than ‘tourism-based’. This approach comes from a history in trade exhibitions, so functional and financial results are the focus, rather than hotel commissions.

Tony Pool, Managing Director
Tony Pool, the remaining founder and Managing Director, is one of the very few Australians to have been in events for more than 30 years. With a background in exhibitions, and 15 years as High Profile’s MD, Tony is regarded in many industries and government agencies as leader and innovator in events and promotions.
The friendly and capable staff at High Profile Events are as enthusiastic about your event as you are…maybe even more so! Staff work as closely with clients as they like through the planning and management stages in reaching-and exceeding- their event goals.
