Newly arrived communities and international students have little if any information about the various emergency and uniformed services organisations, the role they play and how to differentiate among the various uniformed personnel of each agency.
The Uniformed Services in your Community Expo initiated by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade in 2009, provides an opportunity for the culturally diverse guests to learn about the uniforms, services, and volunteering and employment opportunities of our service organisations.
